"Inspiring professional growth through collaboration"
Message from the PACE President,
Greetings fellow PACE members and welcome to the PACE website!
First, I wanted to thank you again for being a PACE member.
Whether you are a long time member or one that just joined us, you are
joining a team of extraordinary individuals. PACE was built upon
the core values of professional integrity, personal growth, lifelong
learning, and civic responsibility. Below is our Mission
Statement, which reflects our commitment:
"to provide
professional growth and leadership development opportunities and related
activities which promote teamwork, camaraderie and open communication
among employees at all levels and contribute to the effectiveness of the
City organization and community."
PACE members share a
commitment to serving the City and community of San Luis Obispo.
Our members come from every department and all lines of work, yet
believe that we are all part of the "City Family". We work hard as
PACE members, are dedicated to professional excellence and celebrate our
accomplishments.
This website was created with all of this in mind. Here, you'll
find the most up to date information on PACE programs, events, classes
and more. My hope is that you will use the site as a tool to
become a better City employee and stay connected to your fellow members.
Remember, PACE was
created for YOU. If you have any suggestions or commitments about
how to make PACE even better, don't hesitate to contact me or the other
PACE Board Members.
Cheers!
Ryan Betz
