Planning Commission Meeting Update

CALL TO ORDER/PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE 

ROLL CALL:      Commissioners Michael Boswell, Michael Draze, Eric Meyer, Airlin Singewald, Mary Whittlesey, Vice-Chairperson Michael Multari, and Chairperson Charles Stevenson
Commissioner Meyer and Vice-Chairperson Multari were absent. 

ACCEPTANCE OF AGENDA:  The agenda was accepted as presented. 

MINUTES:  Minutes of December 10, 2009, and January 27, 2010: Approved as submitted. 

PUBLIC COMMENT:  None. 

PUBLIC HEARINGS:

Commissioner Singewald recused himself due to a potential conflict of interest.

1.      City-wide.  GPI 49-06:  Review the Draft Traffic Analysis Report and Proposed Traffic Impact Mitigation Measures for the Draft South Broad Street Corridor Plan; City of San Luis Obispo, applicant.  (Continued from the January 13, 2010,  meeting)  (Jeff Hook) 

RECOMMENDATION:  Endorse the Final Traffic Report and recommended mitigation measures. 

ACTION:  Moved by Commissioners Boswell/Draze to endorse the final traffic report for the Broad Street Corridor Plan and proposed mitigation measures with the addition of a residential consultation plan during implementation and provisions for bicycle lane through traffic (4:0).
