| City Council Meetings The City Council holds regular meetings at 7:00
p.m. on the first and third Tuesdays of each month in the Council Chamber of City Hall,
990 Palm Street. Other meetings or study sessions are held as needed.
A public comment period is scheduled at
the beginning of each meeting for citizens to comment on City issues not on the agenda.
All Council
meetings are televised live and videotaped for later playback.
San Luis Obispo residents can watch the meetings on Charter
Communication Channel 20.
If you wish to speak concerning any
agenda item when it is under consideration, please fill out a speaker slip before the
meeting and give it to the City Clerk. When the Mayor calls your name, please come forward
to the audience microphone and state your name and city of residence for the record.
Public testimony for or against an item is limited to three minutes. Organization and
consultant presentations are limited to ten minutes. Written comments regarding scheduled
agenda items are always encouraged.
