Computer
Partners
Learn how to send
email to friends and family. Computer instruction is offered by
educators from Cal Poly. The class is FREE to Seniors and Boomers
and is held at the Ludwick Community Center, 864 Santa Rosa. Call
Amy Voorhies, Recreation Specialist, at 781-7069 to register today.
Global Gourmet
Each class local
culinary experts demonstrate how to prepare
a specialty dish with participation from the audience. Global Gourmet is held
at the Ludwick Community Center Teaching Kitchen.

Feet Walking Group
Lace up
those sneakers... This group meets weekly to walk short routes in
the neighborhoods surrounding Mitchell Park. All walks are paced to
participant abilities. Meet in Senior Center parking lot.

Drop-In Volleyball
Drop-in every Wednesday and Sunday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. to experience the fun of Indoor Volleyball at the Ludwick
Community
Center, 864 Santa Rosa St. This program is FREE.
Adult Drop-In Softball
Bring a bat and glove and meet at Santa Rosa
Park on Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for a game of softball with others
over 50!
Ranger-Led Hikes
Come join a City Ranger for senior and family hikes. Hikers will
learn about geology, vegetation and wildlife. This program is free.

The
Parks and Recreation Department works to provide new quality
programs that promote health and wellness for "Boomers" (Adults
50+). These activities are designed to offer programs that bring the
"Boomer" community together. The goal is
to meet the leisure needs of the community and create socialization
within each of the programs that are offered. For more
